Les and his family first moved to Florida in 1983. He grew up in Worthington, Minnesota, graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Masters in Planning from Kansas University, and received a MBA from Harvard Business School. Les received his Broker's License in Real Estate in North Carolina in 1974. He was licensed in Florida in 1983, and is a licensed Broker in five states. 

Over the past 25 years, he has been involved in all phases of Real Estate, Building and Development. During this period of time he has been a top executive in the home building and real estate industry.
